Fine Arts

Art 10/20/30 - Students in these courses learn the different techniques required to create meaningful and expressive artwork. These courses are 3 or 5 credit courses.

Concert Band - The Pride of the Irish Concert Band is a 30 piece wind ensemble that meets every Thursday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Musical selections for this ensemble vary from traditional/contemporary to popular. Credits can be earned for every 25 hours spent in performance, rehearsal or section practices.

Drama 10/20/30 - Students in these courses experiment with a wide variety of acting techniques and theatrical genres. These courses are three or five credit courses although credits may also be obtained through participation in our yearly drama production.

Music 10 /20/30 - In our music courses, students continue to develop techniques on their chosen band instruments through standard technical excercises and also the selection of solo repertoire. Additonally, basic music theory and history is taught. We offer three and five credit courses.

Stage Band - The Pride of the Irish Stage Band is an 18 piece ensemble that meets every Thursday night from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and performs a wide variety of styles with a focus mainly on jazz arrangements including: bebop, cool jazz, swing, funk, bossa nova/latin jazz, pop, and heavy metal.
