Mark Plouffe

Biography

Mark Plouffe has taught the Food Studies Program at St. Patrick High School for 8 years. He brings over 30 years of cooking and teaching experience to the classroom. He is a Red Seal Certified Cook and Certified Chef du Cuisine (CCC). He also holds a Certificate in Adult Education and other food and tourism related certifications. Mark is committed to passing on to his students as many of his skills as he can. He continues to explore his chosen profession bringing back what he learns to the kitchen classroom .

In addition to his classes, Mark facilitates the Hot Cuisine Club, which is available to all students every Wednesday after school.
