Report Coming Home October 13, 2017

Dear Parents/Guardians,

At École St. Patrick High School we follow a rigorous student achievement reporting schedule.  You will receive one Grade Book report and two report cards per semester- one mid-term and one at the end of term.  The schedule follows for your convenience.

The Grade Book report that you will receive on October 13, 2017, offers you an opportunity to reflect with your child on their learning habits and achievement.  It is a time to celebrate successes, set goals, and make any needed adjustments.    While we are not holding a Three Way Conference at present, you are encouraged to contact the teachers should you have any questions or concerns.  Meetings can be held in person or via electronic communication tools such as Skype or simply via telephone.

You can view your child’s grades and attendance at any time by logging into the Parent Portal.  You need a username and password to do this, which can be obtained by contacting our front office team.  Email Eletha or Mandy at eletha.curran@ycs.nt.ca or mandy.marrai@ycs.nt.ca or phone them at 873-4888.

We have a number of electronic communication tools at École St. Patrick High School including:

To help facilitate your learning about how to access these tools and use them to your best advantage our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is organizing a parent information session during Three Way Conferences on November 16, 2017.  More information will come out as to specific session times and you will be able to register to attend at a time aligned with your conference times.

We encourage you to contact our teachers at any time you have questions or concerns.  By working together to support our students we can best facilitate their long-term success.

Sincerely yours,
