School Reopening

Re: School Reopening Guidelines for 2021-2022 School Year

We are writing to assure you that we are monitoring the current COVID situation in Yellowknife and the NWT. The health and safety of our students, staff, and families will continue to be our top priority. As we approach the reopening of schools, we will continue to work closely with the OCPHO and the Department of Education to determine if any changes to our reopening plans will be required.

We will continue to collaborate and plan collectively as Yellowknife School Boards to ensure as much consistency as possible across Yellowknife schools. The precautionary measures and restrictions that were in place to prevent the spread of the virus will be reviewed and adjusted according to all guidelines from the OCPHO.

We will continue to keep you informed in the coming days. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to working with you again this year.
