Stacey Applejohn
Guidance Counsellor
I am originally from Sudbury, Ontario and have taught Biology and Chemistry at St. Pat's for 13 years. This is my second year in my new role as guidance counselor and I look forward to helping our students navigate their course selections through high school, set goals for the future and explore post secondary opportunities. I began my career in the Beaufort-Delta and taught in Aklavik and Inuvik for twelve years after graduating from the University of Waterloo with a BSc (honours biology) and a BEd from Queen's University. I have three children and a very large dog and enjoy cooking and spending time outside.

Hi I’m Mairéad Austin, the school Counsellor! I was raised in the north and after 4 years of living in Alberta, I’m happy to be back working in my home community. I graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Child Studies and majored in Child and Youth Care Counselling. I’m passionate about supporting children, youth, and families reach their full potential! Outside of work I can be found enjoying nature, at the gym, on my yoga mat, or travelling.
