Knowledge and Employability

Knowledge and Employability (K&E) courses are designed for students who meet the criteria, and provide a blend of essential and employability skills. The intent of the program is to enhance the student's literacy and numeracy skills so that they can transition into the workforce after high school or continue thier high school education in the next level of course work.  The K&E program is accomplished through modified high school programing and supervised work experience.

Students who successfully complete the required Knowledge & Employability English, Math, Science and Social Studies courses, in addition to a variety of courses in:  Career & Technology, Fine Arts, Physical Education or other options, will receive a School Achievement Certificate from École St. Patrick High School.  They do not receive a Northwest Territories Senior Secondary graduation diploma.
