ESPHS/KCTC Water Testing Update

Yellowknife Catholic Schools has received updated water testing results for École St. Patrick High School and the Kimberlite Career Technical Centre. While all YCS schools have been using bottled water as a proactive measure since December, recent results confirmed that some fixtures at ESPHS/KCTC show lead and copper levels above the maximum acceptable concentration.

All Schools Remain Open
Continued Safety Measures: We will continue to provide bottled water for all students and staff to ensure the highest level of safety.
GNWT Remediation: The GNWT is implementing remediation measures, including replacing fixtures and installing filters.
